Camila Mendes Spits to Stop the Spread!

The CW show Riverdale has just resumed filming in Vancouver after the cast flew back and spent 14 days quarantining in their housing. The show is known for playing up the sex appeal and having basically everyone making out with each other, but COVID has put a damper on these scenes and changed the way the cast prepare before a take.

Camila Mendes, who plays Veronica and her in-show boyfriend Archie aka KJ Apa shot a video between filming that shows how they wash their mouths out with some sort of acid, in hopes that doing so will prevent the virus from being spread. I really don’t understand it but it does make for some fun content of Camilla swishing and spitting into a Ziploc bag!
