Star Wars: The Last Jedi was a divisive film, to say the least, and the film's haters have been extremely vocal about their many (mostly inane) gripes with the film. Namely, nothing went the way they wanted it to, or the way they thought it should, and that's where all of their problems with the film begin and end.

Sadly, the film's defenders have been mostly silent, likely due to them realizing that there's no way to change the minds of the detractors. Thankfully, Andrew Bridgman and George Rottkamp over at Dorkly have finally given those detractors The Last Jedi they deserve, one that caters to their every desire. In doing so, they've illustrated just how thoroughly idiotic the film would have been had these people had a say in its construction.

Bravo. The one thing I think they might have gotten wrong, however, was making Finn force-sensitive. Many of the same people now complaining about The Last Jedi and its "SJW agenda" are the same ones who got up in arms over the notion of a black stormtrooper, so they probably wouldn't have gone that route.

Just because a film doesn't go the way we expect it to or want it to doesn't negate its value as a work of art—that term being used in the general sense, as I wouldn't call TLJ a masterpiece. I, however, cannot wait for all of those haters to completely miss the point and start yelling at me in the comments section below. It's gonna be a lot of fun. I would urge anyone thinking of doing this to remember that no one's going to change anyone else's opinion. Ah, who am I kidding, these people stopped reading a long time ago...
