Saoirse Ronan at AARP’s 17th Annual Movies For Grownups Awards

Say it with me now, Sir-shah. Saoirse Ronan is one of the most talented young actresses around, and she's blossomed into quite an attractive young lady. We've known Saoirse since she landed an Oscar nomination ten years ago at the age of 13, and the fact that she's racked up two more nominations since then is just proof that she's one of the best around.

Saoirse could be the next Cate Blanchett or, gasp, Meryl Streep. Sidebar, I had a teacher in elementary school who said her name, "Meryl Strep," like strep throat, and insisted that I was wrong for pronouncing both e's. Well we see who's right now, don't we Mrs. Cox! Ah, she's probably dead. And she's certainly not reading this website if she is still alive, the old battle axe. 

So anyway, Saoirse Ronan is gonna win an Oscar one of these days. She might even win this year, though it's gonna be tough to beat Frances McDormand for Three Billboards. Either way, she'll be in the fight again before you know it, she's just that good. Man, we didn't even get to the fact that she was at an AARP gala. That's weird, isn't it? Oh well, maybe next time!
