The New ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ TV Spot Features More Glenn Close, Less Blue Swede

There's a new TV commercial for Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy, and unlike its theatrical predecessor, you can watch it without having to listen to Blue Swede's Hooked on a Feeling. That's a big plus, in my book.



However, the trade off is you have to see and hear more Glenn Close. Personally, that's not a downside for me. I think she's wonderful. But I know how some of you are. And while I might never understand your anti-Glenn Close bigotry, I have to respect your opinions. As such, you've been warned.


Guardians of the Galaxy stars Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Lee Pace, Djimon Hounsou, Benicio del Toro, John C. Reilly, Glenn Close, Karen Gillan, Gregg Henry, Bradley Cooper, Michael Rooker and Vin Diesel.​ It hits theaters nationwide on August 1st.
