We Run Down Every Superman in History After Watching the Literally Sizzling New ‘Man of Steel’ Trailer (VIDEO)

There seemed to have been a big, international 'meh' to escape from everyone's lips after watching the teaser trailer for Zach Snyder'sMan of Steel. Everything seemed fine--the imagery, the look of Henry Cavill, the tone--but overall it just felt like it might be another torpid reboot like Superman Returns that tries too hard to be taken seriously. But the new trailer--complete with Hans Zimmer Gladiator high-pitched singing--has a lot going for it, including first (though quick) looks at Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Laurence Fishburn as Perry White and Michael Shannon as the villainous General Zod.
