Pinball K’Nex is Insane, Awesome, and 100% Playable (VIDEO)

I never really was good for K'Nex, but that should come as no surprise since I pretty much sucked at LEGO, too. Small kids typically construct teeny, tiny structures that do more than they bargained for. But what some big kids built using these connectable pieces is nothing short of impressive.

Using K'Nex pieces to build tall skyscrapers is boring. So what University of Colorado engineering student Andrew Locke did instead was build a fully-functional pinball machine.

Andrew estimates that he used about 17,000 pieces to put this machine together, and of these, around 4,000 were blue rods. The only non-K'Nex parts are the flippers and rubber bands.
