Is there anything worse than a celebrity that thinks he deserves special privileges wherever he goes just because he happens to be good at playing a game? I think not, but apparently New England Patriots wide receiver Wes Welker does.

Over the weekend the star wide receiver was in town preparing for his upcoming wedding to Miss Hooters International for 2005, Anna Burns.  While out on the town with some friends they decided to stroll on into Patron's "Summerology" event, part of the festivities for Aspen's 30th Annual Food and Wine Classic.

Welker and his crew tried to act like they owned the place and walked right in. When they were stopped by security the party still insisted on being let in. Security said no, and a fight ensued. The security ended up being much like the New York Giants defense; Welker and friends were easily restrained.

When police arrived they were lectured for acting like idiot school children and let go. Wes Welker is now officially gangster.
