The Daily Mirror reports that Sienna Miller's friends are worried she may be heading for a total meltdown, following her crazy party lifestyle. Describing her Oscar night escapades, which included an attempt to hook up with Sean Penn, one of Miller friends said:

Hollywood is a lot more po-faced about people having a good time than you imagine. It is an industry town and the industry is movies.

Sienna was having a good time, but it wasn't the kind of behaviour the moguls like.

She's partying hard, some of us would say too hard. We sat her down and told her she needed to count to 10 and cool it.

There was a scene with Sean Penn in the bar where she was being a little too familiar and we knew it was time to have a word.

People need to remember she's still very young and impressionable. And the fall out from Jude has left her very bruised.

And another source from the set of Sienna Miller's new film Factory Girl said that the young actress may have been taking the role of Edie Sedgewick a little too seriously:

Sienna was totally absorbed by the part and it was hard for her to get out of character. She seemed to become Edie - the resemblance between them was uncanny. It got to a point where it was hard to tell where Edie ended and Sienna began. But considering how Edie ended up, it's not necessarily a good thing.

Anyone who's been watching Sienna's recent downward spiral of tantrums and relationship implossions could see this all coming from a mile away, but I think the most surprising thing is that her friends are actually coming to her aid, instead of mooching off her, or posting pictures of her on the internet*COUGH* Lindsay Lohan *COUGH*.
