Wikipedia Announces Nicole Peltz Beckham’s Death!

For about five terrifying minutes yesterday, a whole bunch of people genuinely thought Nicola Peltz had shuffled off this mortal coil, all because of a Wikipedia edit that somehow tricked Google into showing her as “dead.”

Social media users lost it when searches for the actress returned results that said she’d passed away. Fans on Reddit and Twitter were panicking, screenshots were shared, and people were very confused why an actress who’s been posting bikini selfies and movie updates was suddenly showing a death date in Google’s knowledge panel.

The twist? Nicola, who is very much alive, was never reported dead by any legitimate news outlet. The whole thing turned out to be a classic case of Wikipedia vandalism, where an anonymous troll (who hilariously went by the name “bavid deckham”) edited her page to say she had died, and then the internet gobbled it up as fact. Once word got out, Wikipedia editors quickly reverted the page back to normal and the misinformation disappeared.

So no, Nicola hasn’t suddenly passed away mid-feud with the Beckhams, nor did she mysteriously meet her end after promiscuously popping up in a bra selfie (which she did actually post recently).
