Apple may be more tight lipped then the average made man, but that has not stopped a slew of technology bloggers from wiggling bits of information, here are there, out about the newest iOS. For those of you living under a rock the iOS is not the operating system for Mac computers, but for the bevy of mobile devices they make (iTouch, iPhone, iPad) that have eaten up a good portion of market share over the last couple of years. So what's coming next for iDevices?

Well, here is a look at what is expected, though for now nothing is officially on the record:

Voice Navigation Directions

Maps is a great app, unless you're the driver that is. The idea that your phone's voice feature can be used for turn by turn , without a paid app, is a very appealing one. Now you just need to get a window mount and you're in business.

Siri Will Get New Languages and Voices

If her constant bland calmness bothers you too then you will be glad to find that she will have more than one choice. Double that good news if you happen to prefer your iPhone to speak in Japanese, Chinese, Italian or Korean. They're all slated to be added to the US version of the phone.

Multiple Apps On The Screen

Thanks to a clever use of the pinch to shrink/zoom feature you might soon be able to have two apps running, either side by side or one on top of the other. This could be fun on the iPad, but on the iPhone you're going to have to be a bit more careful with how you manage that. After all, you don't want to end up tweeting a private message.

Near Field Processing

Using your iPhone like a credit card with a smart chip, where you just scan it past the register, is a simultaneously fascinating and terrifying one. There had better be a really good way to prevent inadvertent payments, and hacking, for this one to work out.

Hiding Unwanted Apps

Can you say Newsstand anyone? If you love it then its a must have. If you don't like it the fact that it cant be put in a folder is the most annoying thing Apple has ever done. The ability hide the apps you can't get rid of, but don't like is certainly a solid feature.

So how many of them will actually come to pass? Only time will tell.
