The Wolverine Needs Some Gum Because He Has Mutant Breath, Or Something (VIDEO)

A bizarre new TV spot landed last week for the aptly-titled upcoming Wolverine movie, The Wolverine. In it, Wolverine's Adamantium claws chip and break in the midst of a train fight.

In a supremely mind-bending and utterly shocking twist, the guys that Wolverine is fighting don't want him at all. What do they want? You may ask. Adamantium! Just like that, they want a chunk of an unbreakable metal. In an even more shocking reversal, it is revealed that they want the Adamantium for its gumminess and chewability. Why all this trouble for gum? Well, we just don't know. Mutant breath must be a bitch.

Don't you just hate it when the indestructible metal that forms the whole crux of your character arc's challenges and conflicts...just up and chips off? Yeah, us too.
