The Cast of ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ Reads Mean Tweets (VIDEO)

Probably the most inspired bit on any late night program is Jimmy Kimmel's "Mean Tweets" where he has celebrities read mean tweets about themselves, usually set to the REM classic "Everybody Hurts." This time, he's assembled the stars of Avengers: Infinity War—except Downey, who's clearly got no sense of humor about himself anymore—to continue the bit, and it's pretty funny.

I think we're at peak Avengers right now, so this makes sense, and thankfully it's funny enough to redeem the fact that you might just be sick of seeing these people on your various screens at this point. I will admit that the ones read by Chadwick Boseman, Tom Holland, and Chris Evans were my favorite.

The greatest Mean Tweet of all-time, however, belongs to Kevin Bacon. You can check it out below, no matter how many times I see this one, I crack up. It's absolutely brilliant the way he reads British put-downs with his Standard Mid-American accent. It's the pinnacle of what Mean Tweets can be, honestly...

Great stuff, and good on the Avengers cast for having a sense of humor about themselves. Except you, Downey. I swear you don't know how to have a good time anymore.
