Sydney Sweeney Takes the Cover of Cosmo!

Sydney Sweeney is back in headline mode, this time gracing the cover of Cosmopolitan while promoting her very buzzy lingerie brand, SYRN. And as expected, she didn’t just pose pretty, she used the platform to make it very clear what this brand and this moment mean to her.

In the interview, Sydney explains that the Cosmo shoot which features her in pieces from her own line, isn’t just about selling pretty underwear.

“I want to show women that we can take back our power and fully free ourselves… I want SYRN to stand for the power of choice.”

Of course, Cosmos doesn’t just talk clothes. Sydney also addresses how she’s been perceived online, including the “MAGA Barbie” label that’s followed her after some past campaigns.

She insists she’s not a political person, telling the magazine she’s “not here to speak on politics,” and stressing that her focus is on storytelling and her work rather than being anyone’s pawn in online culture wars.
