I have heard it said by some that they do not like it when a girl has abs, but I am not a supporter of this line of thinking. Girls with flat stomachs but no abs seem like the posterchildren for laziness. What’s the matter skinny people, you couldn’t be bothered to do a couple crunches? Either get ripped or get fat, I’m sick of people not choosing a side. They are like the agnostics of the fitness world.

Thankfully Shauna is taking a stand. She clearly has not been neglecting her core. I bet she could set the new record in any bar that has a mechanical bull. That is one of the only activities I know of where strong abs make a difference. I know that seems like a niche market, but you’ll be thanking me if the love of your life ends up loving the rodeo. Talk about an easy way to impress the in-laws.

I think part of men’s aversion to seeing abs in women stems from the fact that it gets women one step closer to being able to physically kick their asses. That sort of power shift can be devastating to the male psyche. Fortunately my psyche was already destroyed long ago.
