Selena Gomez is Proud of Her Scars!

Selena Gomez took to Instagram to show off her new swimsuit, a blue zip up one piece that shows just the right amount of sideboob without risking a wardrobe malfunction. She also took this time to show off her big prayer hands tattoo that I didn’t know she had, on her hip. It’s the kind of tattoo I’ve seen on a least 15 strippers so it’s safe to say its a popular one, to the point where it’s a little passé.

The singer also took this time to show off a large scar on her leg which was a result of her kidney transplant. Here is what she had to say about the photo:

“When I got my kidney transplant, I remember it being very difficult at first showing my scar. I didn’t want it to be in photos, so I wore things that would cover it up. Now, more than ever, I feel confident in who I am and what I went through.”
