Sabrina Carpenter is back with a bang in her new music video for “Manchild,” the synth-pop anthem of calling out emotional immaturity. In just 3:33 minutes, she delivers playful lyrics like “Man‑child / Why you always come a‑running to me?” over upbeat, disco tinged production, proving that a little sass never looked so stylish.
The visuals, complete with sun drenched desert roads, hitchhiking in Daisy Dukes, and platinum Bardot curls, perfectly capture the song’s summer-road-trip drama.
While fans were quick to speculate about possible shade aimed at ex Barry Keoghan, Sabrina clarified that “Manchild” came from a witty Tuesday songwriting session with Amy Allen and Jack Antonoff, and she cheekily thanked the men who “tested me”.
