Rebecca Black Heads to the Desert With Elle Magazine!

Rebecca Black is having a major moment this year, which is pretty exciting for fans of the Friday singer. In the latest issue of Elle magazine, the former viral star stuns in a desert set photoshoot by Kristen Jan Wong, looking better than ever!

Inside the mag, Rebecca opens up about the long road from “Friday” to Salvation, her latest album that’s finally earning her the artistic credibility she deserves. After enduring a tsunami of online bullying at just 13, she tells Elle how that trauma only deepened her passion for music.

“I know what I want to get across, I feel like I’m in the room I’m meant to be in.”

She also reveals she’ll be joining Katy Perry’s Lifetimes Tour (which sadly has been a flop so far in terms of ticket sales) and performing Perry’s infamous “Ur So Gay,” a moment that hits different coming from an openly queer artist.

“I know what the song meant to me when I was 14, now I want to reclaim it in a way that makes people feel seen.”
