Did you ever want a Bond movie that started where On Her Majesty's Secret Service ends? If you're a George Lazenby fan, you've wanted this since the late 60s. The rest of us should brace ourselves for the inevitable end to Daniel Craig's time as 007 which will climax with a new Bond movie in November 2019, and if the intriguing new plot details that leaked yesterday are any indication, we're in for one hell of an emotional resolution.

Page Six reported last night that the new film will continue Bond's relationship with Lea Seydoux's Madeleine Swann, even seeing the pair get married. But it's all downhill from there...

A Hollywood insider tells us that in the film that’s so far been dubbed “Bond 25”: “Bond quits the secret service, and he’s in love and gets married.” The source continues that “his wife then gets killed,” bringing Bond back into action.

In the franchise’s last film from 2015, “Spectre,” Bond’s love interest was Léa Seydoux as Dr. Madeleine Swann — who’s (naturally) rescued by Bond just before the closing credits. But the source says that as the next film opens, they are in wedded bliss. “The film’s like ‘Taken’ with Bond,” says the source, who adds that the suave spy is trying to avenge his wife’s murder.

But wasn't Taken just Bond with Liam Neeson? I know everything in Hollywood is sold with such simplistic pitches as those, but come on. It would be like saying the new Indiana Jones movie will be like Brendan Fraser's The Mummy but with Indiana Jones. I just hope they give Craig the send-off he deserves, and they should really just hire Christopher Nolan to direct it already. When will their schedules ever permit the possibility again?

What do you guys think? Do you want to see Daniel Craig's Bond go on yet another revenge mission based around a bad guy killing his love? Whom do you want to direct it? What crazy, non-sequitir will you post instead?
