Some Major League pitchers have struggled since the league cracked down on the use of sticky substances. Their command and all important spin rate have suffered.

Between inning checks by the self-important umpiring crews have made it almost impossible to use any kind of substances.

There are still a few spots umpires aren't currently checking and the lovely Paige Spiranac thinks those spots, including the pitcher's balls, can be used to hide sticky substances.

Paige makes a lot of sense here. Balls and ass cracks aren't currently being checked and even the biggest dickhead of an umpire doesn't want to go there.
