Nicola Peltz Beckham just popped up in one of the more unexpected cameos on TV right now, and it happens during the wild finale of The Beauty on FX.
The show is a glossy sci-fi thriller about a mysterious “beauty” drug that makes people look perfect but comes with some seriously dark side effects and just wrapped up its first season with a pretty dramatic twist.
*Spoiler Alert*
In the finale, the character Franny Forst, originally played by Isabella Rossellini, is forcibly injected with the drug by her own family, triggering the kind of transformation the whole series has been building toward.
And when Franny reappears after the transformation, she’s suddenly played by Nicola Peltz Beckham.
Peltz Beckham shows up in a glamorous, jewel-covered look that intentionally echoes Rossellini’s iconic vibe from the cult classic Death Becomes Her, which the series has been subtly referencing all season.

The moment is meant to highlight just how extreme the beauty drug’s effects are, taking someone who once embraced aging and forcing them into a perfectly sculpted new body.
But the twist isn’t exactly a fairy-tale makeover. Franny immediately hates what’s happened to her, complaining that the drug stripped away everything that made her real; the scars, the life experience, the age she had earned.
What happens next isn't so pretty.
