The “Mosquitonado” Trailer Is Bonkers

What is the greatest movie franchise of all time? Some people think it is Star Wars or Harry Potter but for my money there is nothing finer than SyFy's groundbreaking Sharknado series. It tells the tale of what happens when tornadoes suck up sharks and then start flinging them at people. It's basically the most horrific scenario that the fevered minds at SyFy could think up. The first two installments, starring Tara Reid and Ian Ziering, were arguably the biggest hits that SyFy has ever had with its original movies. It's easy to see why the films were so successful. Not only do you have the acting chops of Tara and Ian heading the cast but you also have the inherent terror we have of sharks. But there is one animal that has killed way more people than sharks: the mosquito.

Mosquitoes are evil, vile creatures that have caused millions of deaths worldwide with their malaria and other deadly diseases. So, it's no surprise that they would be the subject of a "sharknado style" parody commercial by Terminix trying to drum up terror for the upcoming Fourth of July holiday so that you buy their insect poison. It too stars Tera Reid because honestly, what else is she doing?
