Lots of Hot Amazonian Action in New ‘Wonder Woman’ TV Spots (VIDEO)

Wonder Woman hits theaters next weekend, and the hype machine is in full gear at last. Today we're getting some new promos coming our way that show off what Diana's life was like on the island of Themyscira, home of the Amazons. There's a pretty damn good sword fight between Robin Wright and Gal Gadot in that trailer above, proving that "you fight like a girl" may henceforth be used as a compliment!

In addition, there's three more brief TV spots below with some new footage in each of them, though WB and DC wisely seem to be keeping the third act out of all advertising material. It always bugs me when trailers and TV spots show off stuff from the final act of a film just because that's where all the coolest shots in the film originate. Maintaining some of the mystery is a nice change of pace, and I hope more comic book movies take a cue from what's been a pretty solid ad campaign.

I'm sure that there are still plenty of surprises in store for us when the film opens on June 2, and honestly, when is the last time you were able to say that about a comic book movie? Logan? Alright, touché. Thanks for keeping me honest.
