Katy Perry Is Going To Space Today!

Katy Perry officially took her Teenage Dream to new heights, literally, by launching into space with Blue Origin's all-female crew. The pop star strapped in for an 11-minute joyride to the edge of the cosmos alongside Jeff Bezos’ fiancée Lauren Sánchez (who also curated the whole thing like it was a bachelorette party on Mars), journalist Gayle King, and a few other women.

It’s the first all-female space mission since 1963, and leave it to Katy to show up for history in a custom-designed spacesuit made by the folks behind Oscar de la Renta. Because even when you're floating in zero gravity, you've still got to serve a look.

So while some celebs are launching skincare lines, Katy Perry is launching herself into orbit!
