How to Fake Having a Girlfriend on Instagram (Yes, It’s As Pathetic As It Sounds)

These days, what you see is often what you don't get. Take what this desperate dude did as an example. If you look at his Instagram feed, it'll seem like he has a girlfriend who likes hand-feeding him food, squishing his lips, and poking his face. The fact is, he's as single as can be (not hard to see why, really--but we'll get to that later.)

So who's the girl in the pictures?, you might be wondering. Well, that's not exactly a girl. Notice you only see 'her' hand in all of the shots? That's because that hand doesn't belong to a girl. It doesn't even belong to another person, for that matter. Yessiree, gents: that hand belongs to none other than the same gent in the pictures.

How did he do it? With makeup, some nail polish, and a frilly scrunchie. The gallery shows you how everything came to be, really. All he did was slather some foundation all over one of his hands, painted his nails, and took selfies with his hand positioned at all sorts of weird angles.
