If there's one thing that big studios love more than superheroes, it's taking a bunch of those superheroes and putting them all together in one big event. DC's lineup of shows on The CW are all banding together for the tremendous crossover event Crisis on Earth-X, beginning with last night's episodes of Supergirl and Arrow, and concluding with tonight's episodes of The Flash and Legends of Tomorrow.

This new behind the scenes video takes you on the set as the four shows banded together to create this momentous television event. The official synopsis, however, is pretty convoluted sounding if you're not an avid watcher of all four shows...

Barry (guest star Grant Gustin) and Iris’s (guest star Candice Patton) wedding brings the gang together, but things go awry when villains from Earth-X attack the ceremony. All of the superheroes band together with help from their super friends like Citizen Cold (guest star Wentworth Miller), The Ray (guest star Russell Tovey), Felicity Smoak (guest star Emily Bett Rickards), Iris West and Alex Danvers (Chyler Leigh) to take on their most formidable villains yet. Earth’s mightiest heroes – Green Arrow (guest star Stephen Amell), Supergirl (Melissa Benoist), The Flash (guest star Grant Gustin) and White Canary (guest star Caity Lotz) – lead their teams into battle to save the world.

If you're a fan of these series, I'm sure this is the event you've been waiting for and it all concludes tonight on The CW!
