Future-Text App for iOS: Write Now, Send Later

Have you ever forgotten an important event or occasion that eventually got you into a whole lot of trouble? Missing an anniversary, forgetting a birthday, making plans on the night of someone else's huge party--it happens, even to the best of us.

You can't go back in time and you can't fast forward to the future, but what you can do today is get an app that will make sure you won't ever need to wish you could do either: Future-Text. The premise of the app is simple but it's as useful as apps can get.

Future-Text won't give you a photographic memory and it definitely can't help you when you need to be in two places at the same time. But what it can do is help you commemorate special dates by letting you compose messages early on and schedule when you want them to be sent. You can also use it to send reminders to yourself so you won't forget project deadlines, important events, or any meetings you might have scheduled a few months ahead.

Future-Text is available in the iTunes App Store. The free version lets you try out the basic features, while the $1.99 version lets you schedule and send multiple messages without any restrictions on the duration.
