So you're going to see an unpleasant man waving a machete in your face and a lot of trappings of what appears to be some sort of island culture in this latest clip from Far Cry 3. We'll let you form your own opinions on the machete man. Maybe you're into machetes who knows. But things like the tattoo technique and the war dance referenced in this video may get some of you to thinking that Far Cry 3 is going to teach you something you didn't already know about island culture. It won't.

Watch Travel Channel, do some research and then go to an island of your choosing if you want to learn some stuff. The Ubisoft video game looks very promising with its themes of sanity and violence as long as you stay focused on what it does best. Minority cultures and video games have a spotty history.
