Ever Wanted To Play ‘Snake’ On Your Keyboard? No, No You Haven’t, Because That Would Be Crazy

Here we are, Ego-gents, in the midst of a spangly new age of video games. Consoles are more advanced than they've ever been, PCs are getting their teraflops on faster than ever (or, y'know, something, this techtastic stuff is lost on me) … what a time to be alive.

Maybe I'm just a crotchety old bastard, but I remember being given my first Game Boy on my tenth birthday. This whole VR thing with Oculus Rift and PlayStation VR and such is a little too much for me to handle. So it's nice to know that the ol' classics are still being revived and revisited. The likes of Doom have been modded to run on all sorts of systems, even refrigerators. Here's another blast from the past showing up in an odd place.

Have you ever looked at your PC's keyboard and thought, if only this mother ran Snake. That'd be pretty freaking awesome, right there. I know for damn sure I have. Thanks to Mythic Maniac, that dream is now a sweet, sweet reality.

Yup, this is a Corsair K70 RGB, fully Snaked up and ready to go. It's completely goddamn impractical, almost impossible to play in such a small space, but it's pretty cool nonetheless. A funky little light show if nothing else, like a tiny rave for your fingertips. Check it out:
