Emmy Rossum Proves Girls With Curls Do It Best

It is a true testament to Emmy Rossum’s beauty that she can play the role of a woman who looks like she bathes once every blue moon and yet still can maintain the sex appeal necessary for a Showtime series. With how unkempt her characters hair normally is I would have expected it to either double as a rat’s nest or become dreadlocks, which are basically the same thing.

As a young suburban white boy I used to admire people with dreadlocks. Then I found out what is necessary in order to get and maintain them. No thanks. Bar soap just isn’t going to do the job of satisfying my standards of hygiene. My hair gets so greasy after a single day of not washing that my mother used to rub my head in her pans before cooking. Just to be clear, that is not a euphemism of any kind. I am actually referring to her cooking pans. Although if Emmy Rossum gave me the chance to rub my head in her metaphorical cooking pans I would…probably have to ask for some clarification as to what she is referring. Even I have my standards.
