Elle Fanning Draped in Pearls!

The Independent Spirit Awards happened last night and had Elle Fanning nominated for Best Female Performance in a Scripted Series for her role as Catherine the Great in Hulu's The Great. The actress ended up losing to Shira Haas for her role in Unorthodox but Elle still won with the look she wore for the visual event!

The 23 year old wore a custom gown by Vivienne Westwood that was inspired by Catherine the Great's love of pearls. The purple satin dress has the classic Westwood corset shape and leaves Elle with pearls draped over her shoulders. More Elle updates in the gallery!
