The emotional impact of Toy Story 3's final ten minutes have made it nearly impossible for me to want to watch it again anytime soon. This makes the prospect of another tear jerker in the franchise daunting, to say the least, but if Tim Allen is to be believed, that's exactly what we're in for next summer.

According to Movieweb, the Buzz Lightyear voice actor spilled the beans while guesting on The View. He doesn't necessarily spoil the content of the film or the finale, but he says enough to make us believe we're all going to have our hearts ripped out once again...

"Yes, I gotta resist getting emotional. I don't want to give it away, but this is an incredibly great story. It is so emotional, it's so funny, it's so big, the idea they've come up with, I'm startled. I couldn't even get through the last scene. I would love to be a Washington leaker. I just can't do it. I can't give any more away. They've got great characters but a couple of scenes toward the end were really hard to get through."

I was one of those people who was on record prior to the release of Toy Story 2 in 1999 and Toy Story 3 in 2010 that said we didn't need another Toy Story movie. I thought the first one was perfect, then the second one was even better and the third even better than that. They've really taken their time with 3 and 4, so I have to believe they're sitting on something terrific once again.

We'll find out when Toy Story 4 hits theaters on June 21, 2019. Expect a debut trailer around the time Ralph Breaks the Internet releases at Thanksgiving.
