Perhaps the greatest thing about Arnold Schwarzenegger in his prime is that he could move effortlessly between action and comedy. These lines began to blur around the time of Batman & Robin, and they both move steadily downhill from there. His return to acting after serving as governor of Calley-four-knee-uh has been disastrous at best, so why not let Arnold just run wild in a comedy like he did in the days of Twins and Kindergarten Cop?

Killing Gunther is a new mockumentary marking the directorial debut of Taran Killam, the guy best known for getting fired from SNL because he didn't do a good enough Trump impression and probably wanted too much money. It stars, you guessed it, Taran Killam as a hitman looking to move up in the world by killing Gunther (Schwarzenegger), the number one hitman in the game. Killam threw a bone to fellow SNL alum Bobby Moynihan and gave him the part Bill Hader must have turned down. You know, it's fitting that Taran Killam and Cobie Smulders (who's also in the movie) are married because both of their names look like they're missing letters. Seriously, his name needs some vowels and she could use another consonant or two.

But I digress, it's nice to see Arnold back in comedy mode again, and he can hopefully bring a bit of class to what looks like a really expensive fan film done as a mockumentary to excuse the terrible production values. Killing Gunther hits theaters and On Demand on October 20.
