When I was a kid I used to watch the 60's series The Thunderbirds on PBS Saturday mornings. It was a weird show. They were marionette space cops that went around in space taking care of bad guys. Maybe it's part of my lifelong fascination with puppets. Original Thunderbirds master of puppets Stephen La Rivière has started a Kickstarter campaign to bring back the show for their 50th anniversary. They have already raised 255,000 pounds. I'm not sure how much one of these shows cost but I can't imagine that it's much. After all, you don't have to pay your actors or provide craft services for them. I hope he makes it. That way a new generation of kids can enjoy creepy puppets in space.

If you want to donate to the Kickstarter campaign you can do so here. I would but I'm poor.
