Whether you want to admit it or not, all of us have wasted valuable time playing one or more (most likely more) of Zynga's addicting games when we should have been doing something, anything more productive. I'm not afraid to say I was hooked on Farmville a couple years back. Making sure to check back at the right times of day to harvest my crops and plant a few more trees was a crucial part of my daily schedule. Luckily, I escaped with my sanity but it looks like we all might be getting sucked back in soon.

Zynga has officially announced at their 'Unreal' press conference yesterday that they were currently working on Farmville 2. It's really no surprise as Farmville stands as one of the most widely popular games on Facebook, with over 4 million daily users.

While very little was actually revealed from Zynga, we did get a trailer consisting solely of screenshots that really shows how much they've improved their graphics with the sequel. There was no work of how far into development they are, no sort of release date announced and no sign of actual gameplay as of yet but I'll take screenshots over nothing any day.

Zynga also gave a small insight on other games that are currently in production, including a social network community simulator 'The Ville'. The typically named title will be a Sim's type of game, allowing players to create characters and interact with each other while building a life, family and career. You know...the stuff that you should actually be doing in real life instead.
