You Watched Agent Coulson Die, But He’s Back In A Featurette For ‘Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.’

Based on the success of Mark Burnett's miniseries The Bible, Joss Whedon is getting into the resurrection game himself with Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. You probably remember that Agent Phil Coulson died in The Avengers. At least that's what you believed like an idiot! I can't believe you fell for it.

As the following featurette demonstrates, Coulson is alive and well, a development that even seems to shock some of the other agents, so don't feel bad. No word yet on how Coulson managed to cheat death, but if I had to guess, I'd say we're actually looking at his twin brother, Agent Duke Coulson. I also imagine the show's main plot will involve a treasure map and the search for Agent Phil Coulson's gold. Unfortunately, everything I imagine seems to involve Billy Crystal's movies. (Source)
