World of Warplanes Trailer Goes Supersonic (VIDEO)

The first three syllables of this game match those of the most powerful franchise in PC gaming and the folks behind World of Warplanes will surely be pleased if they can get 75% of the success of World of Warcraft. Warplanes is taking a different, yet obvious, approach to the MMO genre by putting players in the sky where danger can attack from every angle. As far as variety goes you'll get fighters, bombers, jets and other experimental kinds of aircraft and they'll have unique armament, attributes and advantages. You've got the basic elements for a massively multiplayer game in place, now we'll just have to see if this free-to-play game can get that critical number of players battling each other at all times of day.
