Wolverine Is Gonna Get Paid: Jackman Allegedly Offered $100 Million for Four Films

Has Hugh Jackman been offered $100 million to star in four more Wolverine films? It depends on whether or not you trust the National Enquirer. The tabloid is reporting that Jackman is already considering the offer, but his wife would like to see him take on more serious films. You know... like Van Helsing and Happy Feet.

At any rate, the National Enquirer was responsible for ruining John Edwards, so I'm going to go ahead and give them the benefit of the doubt (great job, guys). So assuming the offer is genuine, should Jackman take it?

According to CelebrityNetWorth.com, he's already worth $100 million. Instantly doubling your money seems like a pretty sweet deal. But at the same time, signing up for four films is like signing away a decade of your life. And while nothing is set in stone, it's possible he could make that much money by picking and choosing other films he's more interested in making. So in my opinion, he should walk away, and allow me to step into the role. I'll do all four films for $25 million, so everybody wins.
