Last year was all about Ryan Gosling. Drive, The Ides of March and Crazy, Stupid, Love, each did extremely well at the box office and he received two Golden Globe nominations for his efforts too.

But now it seems like he fancies taking his place behind the camera too, so that he can show the world he is not only one of the brightest acting talents currently working in Hollywood, but that he's a serious artist too. He makes me sick.

Gosling is poised to make his directorial debut with How To Catch A Monster, which has been described as a modern day fairytale and will see his Drive co-star Christina Hendricks play a single mother.
