Vin Diesel Posts New Still from ‘Riddick’–And It Looks Awesome!

It's been a while since we've seen writer and director David Twohy work with Vin Diesel on the Riddick franchise, which is why this new Riddick movie is going to be legendary. Expect both players to come full force and bring the same game they did back in 2000's sci-fi film Pitch Black and 2004's The Chronicles of Riddick, and you can be sure that we're all going for one hell of a ride.

Diesel first teased fans and movie aficionados when he posted a still from Riddick last May. Now he's at it again and has posted the image you see above on his Facebook page for all to see and gawk at.

You know I like to let you in on things, even before Hollywood knows... Last night I was invited in to the editing room, to see the first cut of the new Riddick... WOW!!! P.s. I was so affected/excited... I couldn't sleep.

Of course, an artist is allowed a leeway for being biased about his own work. But you can take a look at the image and see if it's something to be impressed about yourself--especially if you imagine the action that's about to happen as it unfolds on the big screen.

Written and directed by David Twohy, Riddick stars Vin Diesel, Karl Urban, Jordi Molla, Matt Nable, Katee Sackhoff, Bokeem Woodbine, and Dave Bautista, and will be released sometime in 2013.
