‘Triple X Tycoon’ Brings a Dash of Seventies Porn to Gaming

For a while now, tycoon-ery has been big deal in video games. What with Sim City, Rollercoaster Tycoon and their ilk, there's very little we haven't been able to take over in the name of the management sim. From a hospital in Theme Hospital to our own Jurassic Park in Jurassic Park: Operation Genesis, nothing is safe.

But one particular enterprise has always been missing. As dear old Pa always said, everything's better with porn in it. This very reasoning surely led to Triple X Tycoon.

Now, who hasn't always wanted to run their own porn studio, from the early seventies to the present day? This one has childhood dream written all over it, and you'd better believe I'm on board. Mechanically, it doesn't seem all that different to others in the genre, with staff to employ, graphs to dick around with, profits to monitor, all of that nerdly stuff.

This one, though, sounds much more interesting. As Destructoid reports, ‘...you get to staff your studio, measure consumer interest in porn markets, fund the kind of stars that will do the profitable weird niche stuff and manage everything else the industry entails. The game will apparently span everything from the rise and fall of VHS right up to the advent of VR porn.'

Did I mention I'm on board? Because I am.
