Today In Japanese Weirdness: The Cat Barber

They do things a little differently in Japan. Take, for example, their hair. They do all kinds of bizarre things to their hair. I see them on the subway sometimes looking like someone shaved half their head and then electrocuted them to give them the other part of the look. But that's probably not correct. They just went to some innovative hair stylist as opposed to some Russian dude in my Brooklyn neighborhood like I do. I guess there is nothing wrong with it. You can look like an idiot if you want. It's a human right. But what if I told you that some Japanese salons are using cats to style hair?

Yeah, like a cat cat. They bring fluffy in at the end to use her paws to finish styling the person's hair. This is not sustainable? What are you going to do at home? These cats are probably especially trained since their kittens. If you put an average house cat on your head you are getting scratched to death.
