So here we are, at the ass-end of 2016. I don’t know about you, but I’ll be pretty damn glad to see the back of it.

In case you haven’t been keeping up with current events, here’s the general skinny: This year has sucked hard. The world’s going to hell, McDonalds still don’t deliver, my beloved Merry Olde England is getting Brexit-ed right in the face… whichever way you slice it, it’s a bad time. Come the end of December, I might not even bother renewing my subscription to life for 2017.

Screw Earth. I hear there are some pretty good opportunities out in the Solar System, digging intergalactic shitters on Mars for those first colonists/Matt Damon. In other words, as Call of Duty puts it, Screw It, Let’s Go to Space.

Now, a lot of gamers are damn skeptical about Infinite Warfare. We’re not short of futuristic gravity-defying shooters right now, after all. But still, as this new liveaction trailer demonstrates, the shittier our world gets, the more tempting the rest of the galaxy seems.
