The White House Will Need a New Paint Job After the ‘Olympus Has Fallen’ Trailer (VIDEO)

Remember when Antz and A Bug's Life came out around the same time. And then Armageddon and Deep Impact did likewise. Now there are two, count 'em two movies about the White House falling under siege and a Secret Service agent being left with the task of saving the day. But only one of them features Gerard Butler with a horribly gruff American accent. And only one of them was inexplicably directed by same guy who did Training Day. And only one is named Olympus Has Fallen and its first trailer can be watched above. And wow, the White House hasn't been under that much fire since the War of 1812 (Look it up, kids).

The other movie is called White House Down and stars Channing Tatum and Jamie Foxx and was directed by the guy who did Independence Day, which hopefully means we'll see another awesome shot of the White House being blown to smithereens. But that one doesn't come out until later this year. Is the world ready for two movies with the exact same plot? Throw enough explosions at us and I don't think we'll care.
