The Trailer for ‘Prisoners’ Might Give You Nightmares (VIDEO)

I gotta be honest with you here. I'm not used to seeing Hugh Jackman in movies where he's not either singing or shredding people with his adamantium claws. So when I came across this trailer for the upcoming Prisoners I was a little freaked out—and that was before I figured out the movie was about a father who tortures the sicko who kidnapped his daughter and her friend.

So yeah, this is some intense shit. The film is directed by Denis Villenuve (Incendies) and also stars Jake Gyllenhaal, Terrance Howard, Viola Davis, Maria Bello, Melissa Leo, and Paul Dano—a.k.a. that nihilist mute kid from Little Miss Sunshine.

That's a pretty good cast, and the trailer is great, too...if you don't mind a little kidnapping, child murder, and torture.
