The Thirteen Movies of 2013 You Should Make Your New Years Resolution To See

Well 2012 has been a helluva year for filmgoers: An actual Avengers movie; the finale in the Dark Knight trilogy, and absolutely nothing in theaters starring Lindsay Lohan. Good for you, Hollywood. And as we close the chapter on 2012 (perhaps permanently if the Mayans knew what they were talking about), it's time we look forward to 2013. And while some superstitious folk may claim that 13 is an unlucky number, if you take a look at the slate of films coming out next year, we are lucky indeed.

It's sequels, adaptations, rebooes and rereleases galore with some of the biggest franchises returning and some finally getting off the ground. So while you're sipping champagne and forgetting old acquaintance, don't forget to watch all these movies in the coming year.
