The Russo Brothers To Make A Warriors TV Series

Anthony and Joe Russo will be producing a TV series based on the 70's gang classic The Warriors for Hulu. When I first was going to move to New York City, I worried that the city was still like it was in The Warriors movie. Roving bands of hooligans all trying to keep you from going to Coney Island. That's where the big Nathan's hot dogs is and the boardwalk is nice. That is today it's nice. Back then it was a bleak urban hellscape. Which is why the Russo brothers are going to make a kick ass series. They have a lot of TV experience having worked on Community and Arrested Development both of which when they were awesome. Frank Baldwin is set to write. It's unclear whether the whole series will portray the Warriors trying to get back to their home turf or whether it just takes place in the world of The Warriors. 

I'm all about this. While I'm usually not one for remakes and reboots, I think The Warriors would make a great TV show. Maybe it will suck, but I'm willing to give it a shot.
