The ‘Paranormal Activity 4’ Trailer Gives Us Yet Another Use for the Webcams (VIDEO)

Just when you thought it was safe to surreptitiously record your house after sensing some sort of supernatural disturbances...Okay, maybe that's not the best of of taglines, but I think it would work for the latest installment in the Paranormal Activity franchise.

Full disclosure, I'm a bit of a sucker for these movies and I give the filmmakers credit for making the sequels part of a deeper mythology about Katie and her sister and not just pulling a typical horror-sequel move and just having it be about another family that has enough disposable income to buy a shitload of security cameras for their house.

Number fours in franchises aren't often easy (coughCrystalSkullscough) so here's hoping they pull it off. Paranormal Activity is released October 19th.
