The New Trailer For ‘The Last of Us’ Reveals a New Ellie (VIDEO)

Naughty Dog has released a new trailer for 'The Last of Us' and, while the video itself is quite visually stunning and puts you on the edge of your seat, the main point of discussion among fans is the altered appearance of the game's female co-lead.

Ellie was originally shown as an older teen in the original trailer for the game but the developers have seemingly tossed her into the fountain of youth and changed up a few of her features.

As we're still in the midst of development with The Last of Us, the team has been continuing to put a lot of thought into the creation of Ellie. After delving further into the game's narrative over the past few months, we decided to modify Ellie's model to better reflect Ashley's personality, and also resemble a slightly younger teen more fitting to the story. -Neil Druckmann (Naughty Dog)
