The New “Star Wars” TV Spot Goes Boom!

We don't know a lot about what happens in the upcoming Star Wars: The Force Awakens, but we do know that a lot of things blow up. That's the take away from this new 60 second TV spot and most of the other previews as well. There are going to be some awesome spaceship battles and things exploding. This excites me because one of the many things lacking in the prequels was good spaceship battles. There is also much blaster shooting, lightsabers going vwom, and Daisy Ridley getting all hot and bothered. Don't tell me you don't feel a little flutter in  your inner child's heart when Han hands Daisy a blaster and says, "here, you're going to need this." Yes, yes, yes!

I'm really trying not to get my hopes up to high. In a month and a half we may all look back on this and many other articles on this site and think how naive we were to think Star Wars could be good again...but what if we're not wrong? What if we're just jaded because George Lucas turned to the dark side and decided to kill his own child with suckitude? Only time will tell.
