The ‘Men of Game Development 2016’ Calendar is the Least-Sexy Sexy You Ever Saw

What would make a sexy calendar? The Swedish olympic jello-wrestling team nibbling provocatively on phallic-shaped vegetables, for one. That's just off the top of my head, right there, and not a lifelong fantasy of mine involving twelve women named Helga and a dozen carrots. Because that would be wrong. Probably.

Anywho. On the flipside, do you know what wouldn't make for a sexy calendar? Nerdly games developers with more body hair than the Wolfman, that's what. Still, what it lacks in blistering eroticism, this more than makes up for in piss-takery.

The Kickstarter platform has made all kinds of weirdly weird ideas a reality. But now, the biscuit has officially been taken by Men Of Game Development 2016 XTREME EDITION.

It'll feature such sexy slices of mantastic as ‘Iron Galaxy's Dave Lang, DrinkBox Studios' (Guacamelee) Steph Goulet, Naughty Dog's Boon Cotter, Riot Games' Patrick Miller, Bioware Montreal's Manveer Heir, Double Fine's Brad Muir, and Hyper Light Drifter developer Heart Box's Teddy Dief,' quoth Destructoid. If you know who the hell any of these guys actually are, you know the kind of comedy gold we're dealing with here.

You can imagine the studly mechanics of the world clamoring to get this up on the walls of their garages. And maybe they will, because this is the third such calendar to surface. Someone's buying it.

According to the Kickstarter page, if they reach the $3000 goal they'll try to coerce a little nekkidness out of said developers. Sadly, as it currently stands, they've just surpassed this and are set to make that nightmare a reality.
